Zhuxiang Film Group & Unilumin Technology: LED Display Empowers The Film & Cultural Tourism Industry
As one of China's seven major state-owned film groups, Xiaoxiang Film Group traces its roots back to Hunan Film Studio founded in 1958, which was later renamed Xiaoxiang Film Studio. In recent years, the group has gradually built a "five-in-one" film industry layout integrating film and television creation, media communication, cinema circuits, cultural real estate, and cultural tourism media.
Unilumin Technology is mainly engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of LED display and optical display technology-related products. Currently, its UCine LED cinema projection system has been deployed in Russia, Slovenia, Los Angeles, Nanjing, Chengdu, Beijing and other places worldwide. Covering a variety of screen sizes ranging from 5 to 20 meters, it can meet the customized needs of different types of cinemas.
Last June, Shenzhen's first ART HOUSE cinema opened at the Harbour City K11 Art & Cultural Centre, with the UCine 4K LED cinema hall provided by Unilumin Technology put into operation simultaneously. The hall boasts core performance advantages such as high contrast, high refresh rate and high dynamic range.
In addition, Unilumin Technology continues to advance the performance optimization and product upgrading of LED cinema screens. It has launched immersive cinema solutions and the world's first sound-transparent LED cinema screen, and plans to release a 3.8-meter home theater screen in the future.
Meanwhile, the company is exploring the application of AI and LED technology in film and television creation, cultural IP derivatives and other fields, expanding the implementation of LED cinema screens in cultural tourism and commercial scenarios. At present, its full range of LED cinema screens has been commercialized. With technological optimization and large-scale production, the cost of related products has decreased compared with last year.
